  • Pink, Elderflower French 75

Fresh, light and delicious! Just the way I love a sparkling cocktail. This drink is a twist on a French 75, but will elderflower and my favorite sparkling rose by De Chanceny. Find it here: https://amzn.to/3yjMQos. Such a classy go to cocktail for a bridal shower, wedding, girl night in and much more! Pink, Elderflower French 75 Ingredients: Makes 2 What you will need: Tools: Lemon/Lime Juicer (I use this one: https://amzn.to/3EbsgdK ) Cocktail Shaker - Similar one here: https://amzn.to/3rrtmKT Chef's Knife (cutting lemons in half) Peeler (for cutting off the outside of the lemon for garnish) Pairing Knife (for making the lemon garnish) Jigger (measuring ounces - alcohol) Cocktail: 4 ounces of Gin or Vodka 2 ounces fresh lemon juice 2 ounces St Germain Elderflower Liquor 2-3 ounces or fill the rest of your glass of choice with your choice of sparkling rose. Garnishes: Lemon Twist (can use 1 of your lemons before you juice them) Directions: In a shaker with ice combine Gin or Vodka, lemon juice, St Germain Elderflower liquor. Pour into a served-up glass or champagne glass about halfway. (you can choose to have more cocktail vs rose. I like it about 1 part cocktail and 1 part rose. Fill the rest of the glass with your sparking rose Garnish: Use a peeler to peel the outside of the lemon (try to do this before juicing the lemons so you have more circumference to work with). After peeling place the lemon peel, place peel on a cutting board, and with a pairing knife glide the knife along the edges of both sides to make a long skinny straight 1 cm wide peel. Roll it so it stays twisted and set on the rim of your glass. (There is a more complex way to do this where you peel it perfectly without having to cut it, but from experience, this way is easier and looks better.)
